How to calibrate a Scientech scale.

1 calibration procedure for Scientech indicators, balances, and scales, from our technicians' notes.

Reference only. Every digital scale has a different sequence of buttons to calibrate it, and most need a known calibration weight — typically calibrating at both zero (dead load) and span (the known-weight portion). Have a known weight ready before you start. These instructions are provided for reference only and Progressive Scale takes no responsibility for their use. Scientech Balance 1) Press the FUNCTION switch (or MDE and RANGE switches simultaneously for dual range models) 2) Press the MODE switch when CAL1 appears. 3) Wait 10 seconds. Then press the ZERO switch 4) Place one of the flashing calibration weights on the pan 5) ait 10 seconds. Then press the zero switch 6) Remove calibration weight
