Calibration procedures

How to calibrate a Sterling scale.

1 calibration procedure for Sterling indicators, balances, and scales, from our technicians' notes.

Reference only. Every digital scale has a different sequence of buttons to calibrate it, and most need a known calibration weight — typically calibrating at both zero (dead load) and span (the known-weight portion). Have a known weight ready before you start. These instructions are provided for reference only and Progressive Scale takes no responsibility for their use. If you need an on-site scale calibration in the CT, NY, or MA area, call 203-792-2854.
